Aria, Cantori's sapphire-robed musical guideYOUR COMPANION IN THE CRAFT

Aria AI Assistant

Your liturgy-aware repertoire companion

Aria understands the Ordinary, the Propers, Gregorian modes, and denominational fit. She searches score libraries, translates Latin, drafts full outlines, matches repertoire to your library, and learns your preferences — in plain English, 24/7.

Meet Aria

The first AI assistant
trained on the liturgy

Aria is Cantori's built-in AI assistant. She drafts music outlines for a given Sunday, searches public-domain score libraries, translates Latin, and matches suggestions against the repertoire you already own, drawing on a cited corpus of sacred music sources. She is a drafting tool, not a musician: she can be wrong about a date, a text or an attribution, and every suggestion is yours to accept, change or throw out before anyone sings it.

Liturgy-aware suggestions

Aria reads the same liturgical calendar the rest of Cantori uses — season, Sunday, readings, vestment colour — and suggests against it. Ask for an offertory motet for the Third Sunday of Lent and she proposes options with the Proper text in view.

Full outline generation

Describe your liturgy and Aria drafts a complete music outline — entrance, offertory, communion, recessional — with rationale for each selection, pulled from your own repertoire library.

Repertoire matching

Match your score library to the liturgical moment. Aria searches your own collection and surfaces pieces you had forgotten you owned, ranked by how well they fit the day.

Score finder

Need a specific setting? Aria searches CPDL, IMSLP, GregoBase, and CC Watershed for public-domain scores, downloads them, and drops them straight into your packet.

Latin & translation help

Aria translates Latin texts, provides IPA pronunciation guides, and explains the theological context of the Propers — so your singers understand what they're singing.

Chant mode expertise

Aria reads the mode of a chant from its final and its range, explains the characteristic intervals, and suggests other pieces in that mode.

Seasonal programming

Planning Advent through Christ the King? Aria builds a seasonal arc — mapping repertoire across weeks so your program has narrative shape, not just Sunday-by-Sunday guessing.

Learns your preferences

Aria reads what your parish has already sung and what your ensemble has handled, so suggestions stay inside what your singers can actually do.

Available 24/7

Midnight, the week before Advent, nobody to ask? Aria is there. A draft in a minute beats a blank page at eleven at night.

Aria, suggest a communion motet for Pentecost, SATB, moderate difficulty.
Aria: For Pentecost (Vigil or Sunday), Veni Sancte Spiritus by Palestrina is an excellent SATB motet at moderate difficulty. Alternatively, Loquebantur variis linguis by Tallis connects directly to the Acts 2 reading. Both are in your score library.
Can you build the full outline for that Mass and find the entrance hymn?
Aria: Done. I've drafted a complete outline: Entrance — Veni Creator Spiritus (Mode VIII, in your library); Offertory — Confirmavit nos (Gradual, Mode II); Communion — Veni Sancte Spiritus (Palestrina, as discussed); Recessional — Send Forth Your Spirit. I also found a public-domain score for the entrance hymn on CPDL — want me to add it to your packet?
