Look closely at any of them
Porrectus. The broad nib goes down and comes back up without lifting. Meinrad cuts one glyph per descent, in a curved and a straight form, and the rise decides which.

The Meinrad outlines, not approximations
Every sign is the chant font's own drawing -- the punctum with the inward bow a broad nib leaves, the quilisma with its real teeth, both clefs. Where no single glyph exists, the figure is composed to the book's rules: heads touching inside a neume, hairline joins, the four spaces gabc distinguishes.
Sound
It sings rather than sequences
Lengths come from the marks: a mora dot doubles, an episema broadens without stopping, a quilisma lengthens what precedes it, a climacus gathers speed. Then a performance layer leans into cadences, breathes at the bars, and varies the timing the way a schola does.
Editing
Drop shapes onto syllables
The syllable is the unit, because in chant it is. Drag a neume onto a word, drag the clef to another line, add text as you go. Undo, redo, zoom, and a status bar that tells you what you are looking at. GABC is there if you want it and never required.
Analysis
It reads the chant back to you
Mode and final, ambitus against your choir's range, the standard formulas it recognises, phrase and breath structure, and a chironomy overlay that draws the conductor's wave above the staff.
